Day 1:

After breakfast, depart to Limuru Kiabethu Tea farm which is owned and build by two English families, Mitchell & McDonnell in the early 1900's, these families are said to be the first to have ventured into the tea business in kenya.

On arrival you will be welcomed by a Hot cup of Tea either black tea or white tea. Then as we enjoy the aroma of the tea, a brief introduction history about tea farming and how it was started being grown in kenya is given out by an experience tea tour guide.

Then a tour to the farm to see the tea leaves, tea pickers and also perform tea picking, selection, grading and packaging is a good experience and a memorable one.

Lunch is served as buffet in the farm cafeteria and late in the afternoon, we shall see how tea is processed to a finish product, packed and sold to local and international market.

In this farm we have also wild animals and birds, monkeys, as well as different indigenous trees renowned and believed by the local community as medicinal trees or herb where their leaves contain medicine which cured many diseases.

As the day comes to an end, you have already become a tea farmer having experienced everything you wanted to know about tea farming. Before you depart ton Nairobi for overnight stay, you shall be graced with a packet of kenya tea to take to your loved once back home free of charge.
